Summer Craft - Milk Carton Bird Feeders
What you will need:Empty cardboard milk or juice carton
ScissorsString or cord
Hole punch or pencilBird Seed
Decorate with:Paint
ButtonsTissue Paper & Mod Podge
Paint SamplesTwigs
Popsicle Sticks
Have an adult help you cut a hole in the bird feeder – it should be big enough so a bird could come and sit and eat the feed, but not too big or the carton will not be able to hold all the seeds.
Have an adult help you punch a hole using the hole punch or a pencil in the top of the milk carton and put a string through the hole.
Tie a knot in the string.
Decorate your bird feeder with the items listed - be creative! If using paint and/or glue let them dry before filling your feeder.
Fill the carton with bird seed until it reaches the top of the hole.
Hang the feeder on a tree branch and watch the birds enjoy their snack!
