    To add a word, powerpoint or adobe item you need to use the Link to a file or websiteoption

    If you have an item that you need to upload from your computer then you must scrolldown and hit the button as below.

    If you have uploaded the file to the system already then you need just need to clickchoose.

    1. Name your forum

    2. Forum Type we mostly stick to Standard forum for general use

    3. Enter a description of what this forum is about.

    1. You have three options, but if you choose either visible or separate then theadministrator or Moodle Support will need to group your students on the course

    to enable this to work. No groups - there are no sub groups, everyone is part ofone big community. Separate groups - each group can only see their own group,

    others are invisible Visible groups - each group works in their own group, but

    can also see other groups.

    Using the Editor sectionThis box can be found throughout lots of things on Moodle here is a breakdown ofwhat some of the buttons you need to know about may make a difference to you.

    We must express that all font must be in Trebuchet (1.), the font size (2) must beshown as below 1 (8 pt), and then (3.) must be changed as follows:-

    a) Heading 1 as the main title of the module

    b) Heading 2 as the title of the topic

    c) Blank as below for all the rest of the text

    d) Heading 3 for anything other than the above i.e if any needs to beunderlined

    It is very important to use the above for consistency and also to help with thetext not appearing incorrectly.
