Indie/Rock

I find Indie music to have more meaning in their lyrics. Because they play their own instruments they have a more of an advantage, they can play notes that really make the song great to listen to. I really enjoy “Glamorous In did Rock and Roll” by The Killers, because of the music and Brandon Flowers voice. The build up the song has in the middle, really adds tension in the song and that’s what I like about Indie music, how even the music makes the hair stand up on your neck and that the meaning in the song can be brought across easier by the music.

Pop/ RnB

RnB and pop have an up beat and fun way to bring across lyrical meaning. This genre of music is very popular and is listen to by most people, including myself. I listen to Rihanna and her song “Rockstar” from the album Rated R, is an attitude song. This is why I like it, Rihanna in the video doesn’t care about anything, she is a rock star and lives like one. This genre of music is colourful and full of life. This would be a good genre of music to do a video to because it is happy and up beat.
