The use of grey makes her stand out more this is because of the contrast between her dark skin colour and a dull light backing.

Very glamorous look about her, her make up is flawless her hair is being blown perfectly back, (not all over her face)

Use of elegant clothing to emphasise wealth. E.g. she is dressed in nice fabrics with diamonds round the halter meaning expensive.

Subtle make up, this makes her look a lot better in my own opinion because had the make up being caked on she would then look fake.

Lighting is obviously set up mainly directed from in front of her slightly to the left. You can see this because her right arm is in shadow meaning that she has lighting from the opposite side.

This is the sort of shot that I am looking for to promote my front cover of my magazine. Glamorous and eye catching.

Plain background; makes him stand out strongly on it, however it almost looks like he’s bin cut out and stuck onto it.

The use of colours used through out the image is eye catching something that I think could work very well as a front cover image.

The pose is very mature, and he looks very sophisticated, no make up used however he is clean shaved with the bit of stubble which makes him look mature anyway.

Lighting is set to the left hand side again however where his hand is shadows the face slightly however this still looks very effective. The use of the white background also means that the image looks generally brighter anyway.

His clothing is smart however also casual. This does not really give of the idea that he is famous and rich however it does show of some of his character flash but not in your face.

RhiannaI liked this image because it didn’t have a plain background it was interesting and also because the back ground was blurred out meant that she stood out strongly against it because of the sharpness of her against it.

Her hair is perfected into style and he has perfected natural make up, this is good because in this image the only difference between her and ordinary people is the fact that she is already famous she looks exactly like any other woman and this is created by subtle make up instead of having layers of make up slapped on.

Image is a mid close up, it shows a normal expression nothing that looks over exaggerated. It is very casual something you might see in a school photo. However it still shows appeal to viewers as they wish to look like her.

The use of black and white is very effective I think it works really well, it looks more professional in a photographers opinion. Also means that it limits what is going on in the image less distraction.

The use of a plain back ground again is very good especially because the image is black and white this brings out the image on the page and also there is a variation in whites in which the back ground is and what the t-shirt is because you can still see it over the background.

Clean shaven looks smart: hair line joins the perfected jaw line stubble.

Isn’t the typical magazine front cover image or inside image however it looks different and because it is a good looking male will attract both genders, as men aspire to be like him and girls wants to be with him.

Mid shotPlain background meaning that the full attention is on her due to no distractions. Good use of props

using a fan to create the blown hair effect makes her look appealing to the audience as it gives her the look as if to say she will blow u away.

Lighting is above to the right as u can see it reflecting of her fore head but also because a slight shadow sits on her back.
