Poster Ideas

Idea 1• My first idea took multiple different concepts on the internet, and was

formed into one single image. The idea consists of multiple people building the Earth using jigsaw pieces, the image is only going to show the earth only half built with multiple people of different ethnicities picking up jigsaw pieces.

• I want this image to show that the world falls into pieces when we don’t work together, and that we need everyone to work together to make the world work and to build relationships with each other.

• I am going to make the background red, because red is a bright colour, it is neutral and will also give the poster a poppy and positive tone to it.

• I am going to have a little bit of text underneath that says something like “The world works better when we work together” this will link with the image plus it is easy for the audience to understand.

Idea 2• My second idea is following a completely different style to my first idea, my

second idea is going to involve a higher text to picture ratio, this is because I researched multiple posters and a lot of effective ones had just text.

• My main source of inspiration was the “Some people are gay. Get over it!” poster, the poster is made up of only 7 words and 3 colours. The three colours work really well with each other because they are bold and contrast against each other well also. The use of text was really good as well, using a large bold font, also the language used is simple yet powerful as it has got the message across. Also the simplicity of the poster has allowed the design to be featured on different product types, e.g. shirts and mugs.

• My thinking is that if I make different types of posters then my campaign will affect more people because different methods attract different people which is good because it shows diversity, the more people that get affected my campaign the better.

Logo Ideas

Idea 1• My first logo idea is an idea that specifically goes with my first

poster idea, it is following the same jigsaw piece and puzzle style as the poster.

• The idea is to have some jigsaw pieces put together, the colour scheme will be green and blue to represent the earth. The colours will be bright and bold because it will get more people to see it if it stands out.

• I am planning to have a little bit of text on the logo, I will have a word on each puzzle piece saying something like “Peace of the Puzzle”. I will do this because it is a play on words and will also make the logo more symmetrical and improve the appearance altogether.

Idea 2• My second idea takes a little inspiration from my second

poster idea, however not as much as my first logo idea got from my first poster idea.

• My idea and plan is to place a load of symbols that relate to religion, race and gender and place them all in the shape of a megaphone like stickers. I’m keeping the image black and white because you will be able to see it on most if not all colours.

• With this logo I do not plan to have any text on it because I am hoping that the logo will say enough already with it being in the shape of a mega phone.
