Page 2: Montage

The Beyonce cover shows her natural beauty its as though she’s stripped of everything and is showing her true self. Its coveys how religious she is as she has a cross bracelet hanging down next to her which makes the picture very pure and innocent.

The Mariah Carey cover is very sexual and she’s trying to attract the audience with her looks, she conveys an image of glamour and wealth.

The Rihanna cover is all about the angles, you can barely see her face which creates a sense of mystery, the attitude she’s portraying makes it seem as though she’s rebelling which would come alongside the name of the album good girl gone bad.

The Keri Hilson cover is a lot like the Mariah one, her pose is very provocative. The colours are very vibrant and powerful on the cover which probably means the music is.

The Britney Spears cover album comes across very innocent, this is the new image she’s trying to get across after her meltdown, her pose is very staged. The colours are all nudes and rich gold satin sheets, its comes across very clean and pure.

The lil wayne cover I think is the most original one I have on my montage as its so clever, he’s got a baby that looks like him and with all his tattoos on the baby, its comical and very unique.

Lady Gaga’s writing is very similar to the high class fashion magazine Vogue, this shows she thinks of her image and styling very much even though her clothes arent shown in the picture. It looks like an advert you would see in Vogue or Elle.

The Beatles cover is made up of all different pictures or previous album’s, it shows how long they have been around and how many records they have produced, its set out like a collage and the colours are really eye catching.

The Kelly Rowland cover is very stiff and glamorous, her stance is very powerful as she has her hands on her hips, she’s always had this thing about being a feminist and many of her songs are about girls needing to stand up for themselves and have fun.
