2021 Premium Book in Memory of
Paul Fox
Paul Fox was a dedicated member of Monmouth Fair for many decades. During the fair he was easy to spot with his "unique" hat. Over the years, he was responsible for several areas including; making sure the grounds were ready for the fair, getting vendors set up around the fair grounds, and taking items in for winter storage. Given his proximity, he always kept a watchful eye on the fair grounds. There was very little that happened there that he did not know about.
Not only was Paul a lifelong member, but he also got his sons Curtis and Kevin involved, and in recent years his grandsons Christof and Alex.
Paul did not just enjoy Monmouth Fair. He also enjoyed going to all the other agricultural fairs in Maine. No matter what fair you went to, if you said you were affiliated with Monmouth Fair, the person related the fair to Paul.
In addition to Monmouth Fair, Paul served as a director on the Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs. He also was on the Monmouth Fire Department over 60 years, 9 of those as chief.
Paul’s absence at the fair-grounds will certainly be felt by all fair members. Many thanks to Paul for all his dedicated years to Monmouth Fair.

RULES AND REGULATIONS GENERAL
All CDC regulations and guidelines for COVID-19 need to be followed including face coverings and social distancing. Admission is by payment or pass only. Livestock exhibitors are admitted with driver & one assistant. Only certified service dogs are allowed on the grounds. All protests/demonstrations are limited to the designated protest area.

Only the Supt. of Electricity and his assistants shall hook up power cords on the grounds. He has full authority to reject any equipment or wiring not suitable for use on the grounds and his decisions are final. Since power is limited in view of the increasing use of electrical equipment, power will be distributed in the best interests of the Fair. The Supt. of Electricity will make the final decisions on the distribution of electricity in the consideration of safety and load factors.

1. All Premiums from the Cochnewagan Agricultural Association will be paid within 60 days from the date of the Fair. 2.
