MY SUCCESS STORY

As time went on, I started understanding more about her body and what looks good on her. She wastrying everything and coming out to show me and letting me style her; it felts like I was going shoppingwith a friend. Doing so, she fell in love with it even more.

We were walking to the register, when she told me “I really like your outfit.” I told her wait a minute,let me show you somelet me show you something, and I started pulling my outfit from the various parts of the store and making her try it on.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she looked at me and said, “You are good at your job.” This wasthe nicest thing I heard; I could hear her happiness and joy in her voice. We ended up looking the sameand she told me “Now, you are a mini me”, then I joking told her that we should take a picture together.She ended up buying the top, necklace, belt and vest and told me to look for other pieces that I showedher to find her size in other stores.

Giving her Giving her the bags, she told me “I need someone like you; I want you to come to my house and updatemy wardrobe closet. I always need help with what to wear; I want you to style me.” These words made methe happiest on earth; people believing in my talent and my opinion.

I thanked her for her amazing words and promised her that whenever she’s in need of styling she cancome to the store or call on me for tips on what to wear. I added her to my clientele book that I callmy friendship book and informed her that I’ll always keep in touch and inform her of any new collection,promotions or updates we have. I ended up spending 2 hours with her today.

I always wanted to be a model, so sales was my least favorite because I I always wanted to be a model, so sales was my least favorite because I thought I am not good at it.But I noticed, working in fashion, styling people, touching fabrics on daily basis is not considered sales.It’s a belief and a passion that is so enjoyable and easy for me; it draws a smile on my face comingand going to work. Every day I am a model, a stylist, a salesperson. To me, loving my job means I willnever work a day in my life, it’s just doing what I already love to do. Seeing my clients’ smiles in the mirrorlooking at themselves, is priceless; it makes my day.
