16 | Angela Fox | President/CEO, Crystal City BIDAngela Fox was hired as the first President/CEO of the Crystal City BID in November 2006. The Crystal City BID has become a pioneer in the industry, with many of the pro-grams and methods created by Ms. Fox being adopted by other organizations through-out the country. Prior to working at the Crystal City BID, Ms. Fox served as Executive Director and CEO for Cultural Tourism DC. 17 | Janice Frey-Angel | Interim Exeuctive, JFA & AssociatesMs. Frey-Angel has been CEO of several non-profit organizations. She has turned around medium and large multi-disciplinary non-profits, developed new programs and grew revenue and scope at each. Their missions ranged from social services, disabilities and rehabilitations services, work force development, and advocacy. Ms. Frey-Angel’s training is as a clinical social worker with a background in mental health, family ther-apy, disability services, domestic violence, and crisis intervention. 23 | Susan Lacz | CEO, Ridgewells Inc. Susan is Chief Executive Officer of Ridgewells. She joined the company in 1986 as a sales representative and purchased it with her business partners in 1997. 24 | Barbara Martin | Co-founder & Co-CEO, BrandLinkDCBarbara leads the public relations, social media and operations divisions of BrandLink-DC. Her 20-year media career began as a magazine editor, then moved to marketing, where she served as a corporate marketing director for Nielsen Business Media, managing the public relations, marketing and advertising strategies in the business to business sector. In 2007, she founded public relations firm BdMedia before partnering to form BrandLinkDC. In a Sunday Styles cover story, the New York Times called Barba-ra, along with her Co-founder and Co-CEO, Jayne Sandman, “the architects of the new Washington.” GQ magazine named Barbara and Jayne to its “50 Most Powerful People in Washington” list. The Washington Business Journal selected the two partners as “Wom-en Who Mean Business” and included them in their “Power 100 List.” Barbara and Jayne also co-founded District Sample Sale, Washington’s most fashionable charitable event, which raised over $300,000 for women’s and children’s charities across the region.

25 | Barbara McDuffie | Managing Director, Baker TillyBarbara has more than 30 years of experiences in the commercial real estate arena, first as a commercial broker and for the past 10 years doing business development in the east region for Baker Tilly, a national accounting and consulting firm. Barbara’s industry engagement includes NAIOP, CREW, ULI, the Tysons Partnership and the 2030 Group where she has held board and senior committee positions. She was the first female chairman of Northern Virginia NAIOP and served 3 terms on the national board. She is currently chair of the Trustees for the NAIOP Governor’s Research Foundation. 26 | Catherine Meloy | President/CEO, Goodwill of Greater WashingtonCatherine Meloy serves as President and CEO of Goodwill of Greater Washington and the Goodwill Excel Center Adult Charter High School. Prior to joining Goodwill in 2003, Catherine had a successful 20 year management career in the radio industry. Over the past 14 years, Goodwill has grown to over 900 associates; 20 retail stores and nine government janitorial contracts. Goodwill of Greater Washington provides sector train-ing programs in Hospitality, Protective and Security Services and Energy and Utilities training to the underserved in the community. In further serving and expanding the mission of Goodwill, the first adult diploma charter high school – The Goodwill Excel Center – opened in August 2016, serving over 325 students.
