Die montageanleitung beschreibt den anschluss des adapterkabels am

Diagnosegerät (bestell-nr. 22 1529 89 00 00) bzw. Diagnosetool EDiTH

basic (bestell-nr. 22 1541 89 00 00) und am Heizgerät Hydronic.

im lieferumfang ist enthalten:

1 adapterkabel

1 montageanweisung

bitte beachten! � beim anschluss des adapterkabels ist die im folgenden abschnitt

genannte reihenfolge 1 bis 5 unbedingt einzuhalten.

� Die steckverbindung „Heizgerät / leitungsbaum“ darf erst getrennt

werden, wenn das Heizgerät ausgeschaltet und der nachlauf beendet

ist.

� Die bedienungsanweisung des Diagnosetools EDiTH basic beachten.

� Fehlerdiagnose, siehe in der störungssuche und reparaturanleitung.

basic“ mit dem adapterkabel verbinden.

nur bei Diagnosetool EDiTH basic:

Das sub-D-Verbindungskabel am Diagnosetool EDiTH basic und am

PC anschließen.

4 am umschalter den Heizgerätetyp „standheizgerät“ oder „Zuheizge-

rät“ wählen.

5 Diagnoseabfrage starten – beim Zuheizgerät zusätzlich den Fahr-

zeugmotor starten.

bitte beachten! � um bei einer standheizung die Zuheizfunktion zu prüfen, ist ebenfalls

am umschalter die schalterstellung „Zuheizgerät“ zu wählen.

� Das 6-polige steckhülsengehäuse vom Kabelstrang „Diagnosegerät“

bleibt frei.

The installation instructions describe the connection of the adapter

cable to the diagnostic unit (order no. 22 1529 89 00 00) or the EDiTH

basic diagnostic tool (order no. 22 1541 89 00 00) and to the Hydronic

heater.

The scope of supply includes:

1 adapter cable

1 assembly instructions

please note! � on connecting the adapter cable, always keep to the precise order, 1

to 5, given in the following section.

� The plug-in "Heater / Cable Harness" connection may not be discon-

nected until the heater has been switched off and the after-running

has finished.

� Follow the operating instructions for the EDiTH basic diagnostic tool.

� Fault diagnosis, see troubleshooting and repair instructions.

connect diagnostic unit or edith basic diagnostic tool

1 Disconnect plug-in connection in the "Heater / Cable harness" cable

loom.

2 Connect adapter cable to the heater cable loom and the cable harness.

3 Connect the "diagnostic unit" cable loom or the "EDiTH basic diag-

nostic tool" cable loom with the adapter cable.

For EDiTH basic diagnostic tool only:

Connect the sub-D connection cable to the EDiTH basic diagnostic

tool and to the PC.

4 select "parking heater" or "auxiliary heater" type of heater at the

changeover switch.

5 start diagnosis query – in addition, start the vehicle engine for the

auxiliary heater.

please note! � To check the auxiliary heater function of a parking heater, the

"auxiliary heater" switch setting must also be selected at the chan-

geover switch.

� The 6-pin receptacle housing from the "diagnostic unit" cable loom

remains unused.

les instructions de montage décrivent le raccordement du cordon

d'adaptation à l'appareil de diagnostic (réf. 22 1529 89 00 00) respec-

tivement à l'outil de diagnostic EDiTH basic (réf. 22 1541 89 00 00) et

à l'appareil de chauffage Hydronic.

a savoir ! � respecter impérativement l'ordre des opérations de 1 à 5 mentionné

au chapitre ci-après pour le raccordement du cordon d'adaptation.

� il est interdit de déconnecter le connecteur « appareil de chauffage /

faisceau de conducteurs » avant d'avoir mis l'appareil de chauffage

hors circuit et d'avoir patienté jusqu'à l'achèvement de la marche

par inertie.

� respecter les instructions de service de l'outil de diagnostic EDiTH

basic.

� Consulter les instructions de recherche de l'origine des pannes et de

réparation en ce qui concerne le diagnostic des défauts.

raccordement de l'appareil de diagnostic respectivement de l'outil

de diagnostic edith basic

1 Couper la connexion du faisceau de câbles « appareil de chauffage /

faisceau de conducteurs ».

2 raccorder le cordon d'adaptation au faisceau de câbles de l'appareil

de chauffage et au faisceau de conducteurs.

3 relier le faisceau de câbles de l'« appareil de diagnostic » respecti-

vement le faisceau de câbles de l'« outil de diagnostic EDiTH basic »

avec le cordon d'adaptation.

Pour l'outil de diagnostic EDiTH basic seulement :

raccorder le cordon de liaison sub-D à l'outil de diagnostic EDiTH

basic et au microordinateur.

4 sélectionner « appareil de chauffage auxiliaire » ou « appareil de

chauffage supplémentaire » comme modèle d'appareil de chauffage

à l'aide de l'inverseur.

5 Démarrer l'interrogation de diagnostic – ne pas oublier de démarrer

le moteur du véhicule en cas d'appareil de chauffage supplémen-

taire.

a savoir ! � Placer l'interrupteur de l'inverseur sur « appareil de chauffage sup-

plémentaire » pour contrôler la fonction de chauffage supplémentaire

d'un appareil de chauffage auxiliaire.

� la chemise de la douille à fiche plate à 6 broches du faisceau de

câbles « appareil de diagnostic » demeure non branchée.

Denna monteringsanvisning beskriver anslutning av adapterkabeln till

ett diagnosverktyg (beställningsnr 22 1529 89 00 00) resp. diagnos-

instrumentet EDiTH basic (beställningsnr 22 1541 89 00 00) och till

värmare Hydronic.

i leveransen ingår:

observera! � Vid anslutning av adapterkabeln måste den i följande avsnitt

beskrivna ordningsföljden 1–5 ovillkorligen följas.

� Kontaktförbindelsen värmare / kabelstam får inte lossas förrän vär-

maren stängts av och eftergången avslutats.

� Följ bruksanvisningen för diagnosinstrumentet EDiTH basic.

� För feldiagnos se felsöknings- och reparationshandboken.

anslut diagnosverktyget resp. diagnosinstrumentet edith basic

1 lossa kontaktförbindelsen i kabelsträngen värmare / kabelstam.

2 anslut adapterkabeln till värmarens kabelsträng och till kabelstammen.

3 Förbind kabelsträngen till diagnosverktyget resp. kabelsträngen till

diagnosinstrumentet EDiTH basic med adapterkabeln.

Endast för diagnosinstrumentet EDiTH basic:

anslut sub-D-förbindelsekabeln till diagnosinstrumentet EDiTH och

till datorn.

4 Välj värmartyp ”Kupévärmare” eller ”Tilläggsvärmare” på omkopp-

laren.

5 starta diagnoskontrollen – för tilläggsvärmare skall även fordons-

motorn startas.

observera! � För att kontrollera tilläggsvärmefunktionen på en kupévärmare måste

läget ”Tilläggsvärmare” väljas på omkopplaren.

� Det 6-poliga hylshuset på kabelsträngen till diagnosverktyget lämnas

tomt.
