Jharkhand has multifaceted and glorious history with evidence of human habitation since Pre-historic times. Pre history and history lives side by side. Total of 32 tribes inhabits Jharkhand. 

The State is home to many famous pilgrimages and temples of India Viz Deoghar Parasnath temple Dewri Mandir Rajrappa Jaganathpur temple & Hill, Sun temple etc.

The state is endowed with rich minerals of various types in key mining areas like Noamundi, Jadugora Uranium Mine, Kodarma, Kiriburu, Jharia etc.The states desires to woo tourists & investors to exploit mining potential of the state
