We pr int on a Chandler & Pr ice p laten let terpress that was bui l t in 1925 and tr im each sheet that we pr int on with a cutter f rom the same era . Our des i re i s that each piece we create wi l l have an int imate , one-of-a-kind qual i ty by integrat ing techniques l ike col lage or d ip-dyeing. Qual i ty craftsmanship and f lawless pr int ing br ing us joy and we hope that Moglea wi l l he lp you br ing joy to others as wel l .

C O N C E R N I N g L E T T E R P R E S SLetterpress i s a centur ies-old pr int ing technique in which a raised form is inked and pressed into paper. Each sheet i s hand-fed through our ant ique let terpress one color at a t ime. Due to the inherent nature of this process , subt le var iat ions wi l l occur in ink coverage , co lor, impress ion and pos i t ion.

PA P E RWe love the fee l and qual i ty of 100% cotton paper, and i t g ives us the r ichest impres-s ion on the press . Most of our cards are pr inted on 120 or 200lb Crane’s Lettra . For our thickest 2-ply and 4-ply cards , we use Holyoke and Ris ing Museum board, respec-t ive ly. Both are made of 100% cotton rag for a soft , yet substant ia l p iece of l e t terpress s tat ioner y.
