• You can fly to Munich from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai

• A greater number of flights are available from Delhi and Mumbai

• There are no direct flights from Chennai and Bengaluru

Munich Airport is named after Franz Josef Strauss, who was a prominent leader of Bavaria

It is also the southern hub of Lufthansa Airlines

From Airport to the City…The Munich Suburban Railway (S-Bahn) and buses connect the airport to the city center

You can buy a ticket from the bus driver

The Lufthansa Airport Bus departs from the Airport (Terminals 1 and 2) to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 20 minutes

The best way of getting around the city is to use its excellent public

transport system MVV

This is an integrated system consisting of trams, buses, U-Bahn

trains (the underground) and S Bahn trains (the suburban trains)
