Problem: High School Math Department Master Schedule

Generate a schedule that balances the opportunities for given courses as much as possible across the schedule by assigning appropriate courses to teachers qualified to teach them as well as meeting the scheduling needs for the teachers’ other assignments in the building.

Problem solving and Sudoku

A number puzzle on a 9 by 9 grid divided into nine 3 by 3 boxes with several numbers given.

The object is to place the numbers from 1 to 9 in empty squares.

The restriction is that you must have the numbers 1 to 9 in every row, every column and every 3 by 3 box (no duplicate numbers)
