It replace other solutions based on Diesel generators and old technology or just darkness as there is no power st all. We use new development in design and components. Power range starts from 25 KW and up to many MW size. Systems are called SPU units and they are modular and scalable. Features of Solar Power Units SPU series * Modular design in 2 sizes that can be scaled up and down as what is needed. * Preinstalled containers for larger systems for fast start up at site when installed * 25 KWH modules for smaller sites and 250 KWH modules for larger installations * Operates on solar panels only even in areas with long periods of bad weather and twilight * CIGS Cadmium free solar panels with far better performance in twilight and cloudy days * One axis trackers gives about 25% extra power and a better balance over the day * Environmentally friendly with only non poisonous materials * Bipolar Ni-MH cells with best performance and 10-20 years life time and reasonable costs * Unique Bi-directional inverter saves 5% in more KWH / year as losses are smaller SPU is optimised for tropical areas as demands are different to other areas of the globe. Corrosion resistant is one factor that makes problems after some years and here we put lot of attention here. Humidity is an other factor that can give surprises we have designed to avoid. Solar panels are laminated double glass design to avoid plastic foil separation at back side by Sun UV radiation. Life time is here more likely 40 years than normal 25 years. Battery unit is the most costly part and the new Swedish made Ni-MH solution is possible best on market. Cost is reasonable and life time can be over 20 years if used in a correct way. DC bus electronics with bidirectional inverters saves costs and complexity. Partial shadows etc is compensated in best ways.Energy storage the heart of the systemThis is the heart of the system and very demanding for correct functions, costs and life cycle operation. Earlier this has been the limit to make complete systems to a reasonable cost so KWH cost in a life cycle can compete with alternatives. Sunnytek Modular power system produce low cost power for 10-20 years to a cost lower than most alternatives in Tropical areas.

The new NiMh battery design developed in Sweden makes the concept profitable for most sites. Now the system is well tested and can be used with great trust globally. Now production is speeded up to over 15 MWH capacity per year and prices makes new applications possible like the modular solar farm. Normally all is in a preinstalled container.

Sunnytek and partners offer a new concept in modular solar farms including energy storage to a reasonable cost and a long life cycle. New technology in better solar panels, one axis trackers and dramatically improved battery solution makes this package very attractive. It works in all sites where cost and reliability is a demand for many years ahead.Design is based on blocks of 250 KWH energy storage capacity that is matched to a number of solar panels that match the location and what is needed in power. Panels are typically 160KW and up. Upon demand we use that number of energy blocks each site needs to fulfil demands.Solar panels and design criteriaNormally we use thin film panels of the newest design that works in twilight and cloudy weather. Normally the panels shall charge what is needed in the 24 hour operation in 4-6 hours depends on how sunny the area is. We support with calculations if we know location and your demands in output. It differs a lot in solar radiation.Thin film panels are better when very hot and when cloudy and is a better choice than crystalline panels in output and total output i KWH / year. This is the most robust panel with laminated glass and no sensitive plastics on the back side. UV radiation and salt water will have no effects to glass surfaces. Warranty is up to 25 years.Features of solar panels* Thin film Cadmium free CIGS panel in laminated glass.* Each panel gives 145W-170W according to standard measurement

procedure.* Thin film gives 20-30 % more output than a crystalline panel a cloudy day.* Not very sensitive to partial shadows from leaves etc. on panel surface.* Best Life cycle costs years and more as output in KWH is higher.* 10/25 years standard warranty and produced in Germany or Japan.* Strong resistance to hail storms and wind forces.After long analyse we see this is the best solution in tropical areas of the globe. The system concept and layout.

Mini-Versions use Ni-MH power packs of 25 KWH storage capacity often matched with solar panels of about 100KW. Ideas for small villages and hotels + schools and officesDelivery in a pallet designed module solution with most of electronics tested at factory.

Midi-Versions use packs Ni-MH power packs of 250 KWH in 20/40 feet containers. 20 Feet handle max 500KWH and 40 feet 1 MWH storage. Electronics tested at factory for simple start up at site.This is suitable for cities and larger industries.

Larger sites have a number of Midi-Version in parallell and here we can make many MW totally. ( Maxi model planned for 2018 )

Solar radiation differs a lot so we adjust the number of panels to battery and situation. Typically the panels at the site shall charge all power in 4-6 hours depending on how the daily cycle of electricity consumption looks. 250 KWH energy storage then need panels of 1 to 1,5 MW output.Solar trackers for panels gives 25% more power than a fixed installation. We have a single axis tracker with linkage so it is not very complex and easy to maintain.Inverters and solar chargers have a new unique design where we use 700 Volt DC operation so we have a single unit for charging battery as well as produce AC power for the grid.

Units are in sections so smaller parts of panels can be disconnected for service works while all others produce power as normal.

Inverters , battery pack , solar panels and trackers are European with best reliability.

The new DC infrastructure for PV, storage and more The EnergyHub system brings a new future proof way of integrating PV, storage, small scale wind and DC loads. With one single inverter, new DC devices can be added when required. The bidirectional inverter acts as a bridge between the utility AC grid and a local DC nanogrid within the building where solar cells, batteries and loads are connected. One second resolution measurements of energy production and consumption coupled with internet connectivity enables a new level of energy services and energy effiency measures. The patented ACE technology provides three phase load balancing for reduced grid fees or faster EV charging. The DC nanogrid architecture enables energy to be stored or used directly on the DC side for optimum flexibility and minimal losses.
