Many of the club members drove to Norman to attend the 89er Day Pa- rade on April 30th. The 89er Day Parade committee really appreciated our attendance and presented each attending Model A with a 2011 89er Day Parade participation ribbon. The ribbons were a nice gesture. The parade pictures are on our club website. Make sure to attend the upcoming Armed Forces Day Parade in Del City on May 14th. Parade begins at 10:00AM. We are planning a “Spring BBQ at Joe’s” on Saturday, June 11th. Each member is asked to bring a covered dish. Joe and Audra will be furnishing the delicious Bar-B-Q. Thank you Joe and Audra! We will start a little later, at 2:00pm because many of our club members will just be arriving back in town from the Regional MAFCA Tour in Over- land Park, Kansas. 1pkg lemon Jell-O 3oz. size
1 cup boiling water
3Tbs lemon juice (fresh)
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1tsp. vanilla
1 can Milnot evaporated milk (chilled)
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water, add lemon juice. Cream the sugar and cream cheese. Add vanilla, pour into Jell-O mix-ture. Mix well. Whip the Milnot, fold into Jell-O mixture. Pour into graham cracker crust. Sprinkle some crumbs on top, refrigerate.

2cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter or oleo melted
3Tbs sugar
Crush graham crackers, add butter and sugar, press in 9x13 pan. Bake 8 minutes 400 degrees. Cool before adding Jell-O mixture. Refrigerate a few hours to jell.

The SOONER MODEL A CLUB SOONER MODEL A CLUB SOONER MODEL A CLUB SOONER MODEL A CLUB is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Model A Ford Club of America. All correspondence for the club should be sent to the address above.
General Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the months of January thru November. Meetings commence at 7:00 p.m. and are held at Will Rogers Garden Center at 3400 N.W. 36th in Okla. City. Membership dues are $20.00 per year. Membership in the Model A Ford Club of America is encour-aged.
Ownership of a Model A Ford is not required. All members are welcome to attend the club’s Board Meetings, which are held on the first Tuesday of each month at a location designated by the Presi-dent and advertised in the Scuttlebutt.
“600W” oil was used in Model-A transmissions, differentials, and steering boxes when they were first manu-factured. No doubt that in their early years the proper lubrication was used. The “600W” was manufactured and distributed by suppliers for use in Model-A’s for many years-then things changed! The oil marketed to-day as “600W” is nowhere near the same viscosity (“600W” was not, by the way, the actual viscosity of the oil, it was just called that). It was closer to 240 wt. Suppliers today offer oil that is called “600W” but it does not come close to 240wt oil. Combining the “600W” oil sold by suppliers today with STP motor oil additive (on a 50/50 basis) produces a reasonable substitute for “600W” oil. Straight STP (used by some) is generally
