• “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view … until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.”

• For this assignment, that is just what you are going to do. You will create a character based on the shoes they wear.

Let the shoes tell the story …

• Use the Web to find a pair of shoes that will “define” your character. Do not choose your favorite shoes; instead, choose shoes for a character that you would like to create. Try the following sites:

Flesh ‘em out

• After completing the worksheet slides, create 4 more slides showing:– Where character would live– Character’s favorite hobby– Character’s greatest dream / desire– How character interacts with others (i.e.

family, co-workers, neighbors)

• Please label each slide with the terms given above

Remember to keep it clean

• Keep your appropriateness meters on for this activity. We will be presenting to the class and then printing them off for the bulletin board. If you can show Mrs. Stemler and your grandmother without worrying about the content, you’re just fine.
