• 93% of all accidents are due to human error, with driver inattention being the primary cause

• Nearly 74% of all accidents include driver inattention in the 3 seconds preceding the accident

• 40% of rear end collisions have no brake application whatsoever• 60% of road accident fatalities are due to unintentional lane departures

COLLISION WARNING SYSTEMS• The National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) has included collision

avoidance systems on its recent Most Wanted / Top Ten advocacy list for 2013.

• The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is tracking collision avoidance systems as part of their 5 star safety ratings.

• The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is promoting voluntary adoption of collision avoidance systems for fleet safety.

• The insurance sector, including The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and Highway Data Loss Institute (HDLI) has reported on these benefits.

• From high end such as BMW and Cadillac to more mainstream like Buick and the Honda, collision warning systems are being widely adopted by manufacturers.

• Fleets are adopting collision avoidance systems as part of their safety programs.

AFTERMARKET ADOPTION

Previous safety breakthroughs required new vehicle purchase:• Seat Belts• Anti-Lock Brakes• Air Bags• Electronic Skid Control

Mobileye Collision Avoidance Systems can be added to existing vehicles

INTELLIGENT HIGH BEAM CONTROLo Automatically turns on/off high beams depending upon preceding traffic

(400m) and approaching traffic (800m). Active at night.

FLEET MANAGEMENT

OUR VISION. YOUR SAFETY

TM

• Prevent accidents before they happen instead of analyzing them after• Active during the critical seconds before an accident occurs• A tool for both new and experienced drivers• Reinforces proper driving habits• Customer-specific operating parameters:

– Warning alert settings can be set by the fleet– Driver adjustment can be locked out

• Can be integrated to 3rd party telematics (Omni Tracs, Peoplenet, Geotab etc)

• Reporting of critical events• Provide driver scorecards• Identify suspect drivers before an incident occurs• Contact driver proactively
