•There are 4.77 billion mobile phone users in the world today
•90 percent of American adults have mobile phones
•58 percent of American adults have smartphones
•42 percent of American adults own tablet computers
•55 percent of mobile phone owners go online (internet, exchange e-mails, or download apps)

growing rapidly and it’s becoming
more popular in the world. The

continue to grow even more.

mobile phone users in the world
by 2017, which is almost 70
percent of the population in the
