MOBILE PHONE- CONTROLLED MOTORCYCLE ENGINE STARTER
MOBILE PHONE-CONTROLLED MOTORCYCLE
ENGINE STARTER
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
CHAPTER I
A remote-control circuit. It allows users to control their gadgets from a reasonable distance depending on what communication media is used.
A remote-controlled starter uses RF circuits which have limited working range, frequency range and limited control. Such limitations can be surpassed by the use of the fast growing mobile phone technology. It provides the advantage of robust control, working range as large as the coverage area of the service provider, no interference with other controllers and up to twelve controls.
This gave the researchers to design an engine starter that is controlled via a phone call to a mobile phone attached to the device. A signal to the device will trigger the motorcycle engine to start or to stop.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
CHAPTER III
Experimental research design was used for controlled testing of casual processes. The general procedure is that one or more independent variable is manipulated to determine its effects on a dependent variable.
RESEARCH DESIGN
The parts of the proposed project consist of a Nokia 1100, MT8870, 74LS04, Atmega32 and User’s Mobile Phone.
The Nokia 1100 is the one that will act as the receiver of the Information between the caller and the device.
The Data Base of the project will be stored to the Atmega32.
Mobile phone with auto answer call based technology is to be used.
MT8870 is a DTMF decoder74LS04 is an inverter
SUBJECT OF THE STUDY
It focused mainly on the development of a Mobile Phone-Controlled Motorcycle Engine Starter which receives information.
The output information’s can only be received by the use of a Mobile Phone. The whole operation of the proposed project, Mobile Phone-Controlled Motorcycle Engine Starter runs with the use of a 5V regulated power supply.
It is essential for the proponents to have information about different experimental equipment to be able to have an idea on the design of the Mobile Phone-Controlled Motorcycle Engine Starter. The information and concepts gathered are the basis in making the idea on what will be the requirements in choosing the materials for the development of the design. And also taken into consideration are the prepositions on how Mobile Phone-Controlled Motorcycle Engine Starter works and functions.
Research Procedures
The information gathered by the researchers about the different experiments or proposed projects and procedures are necessary in order for the researchers to have an idea regarding the design of the “Mobile Phone-Controlled Motorcycle Engine Starter”. All the necessary information needed in the project was obtained through extensive research and studies.
