A mere redesign of traditional websites is no longer

enough to meet the challenges of the increasing use of

mobile devices, of infostreams and of searching as

means of accessing the huge amount of information

available online.

Meeting the ChallengesMore extensive adjustments are necessary to ensure

• non-redundant and presentation-independent content management;

Database-hosted content is king and web services are the servants for delivering statistical information …. also as open (linked) data.
