NOVEMBER DEAD LISTS November the month of the Holy Souls, we make a special effort to remember the Faithful
Departed in our prayers and Masses, especially our own beloved family and friends. Each day of November those names on the Dead Lists are placed on the Altar and are remembered in all
Masses. Lists are available for each household in the Church porch from today. They should be completed and returned as soon as possible to the Special Box before the Altar or placed in the
Offertory basket at any weekend Mass. It is customary to make an offering with each list.
NOVEMBER MASS OF REMEMBRANCE Mayobridge November Mass of Remembrance for those who died during the past year will be on Wednesday 8th November at 7.30pm. The families of those who were interred in our cemetery since last year’s Mass will be contacted shortly and asked to nominate two members who will
carry a candle to the Altar during this Mass. Any member of the community who has had a family member or a loved one die in the past year and who is interred in a different cemetery and who
would like to place a candle on the Altar is welcome to do so. Two seats will be reserved for family members carrying candles.
Please give the name to Daniel Morgan, Tel: 07929568392 or email [email protected] before next Sunday 5th November at the latest
so that the names can be included in the ‘List of the Dead’. “It is a Holy and Wholesome thought to Pray for the Dead”
