Padres in E6. They are a California team and were defeated by the Yankees in the 1998 World Series.

Rays in C1. They are a Florida team and an AL East team.

Orioles in B1. They are a bird team as are the Blue Jays and are an AL East team.

Red Sox in D1, they are the last AL East team to go in row 1.

Mets in E2. They share a city name with the Yankees and all New York teams go inColumn E.

Marlins in C5. They defeated the Yankees in the 2003 World Series and are a Florida teamso they go in column C.

Cardinals in A2. They are a bird team, a Missouri team and must be adjacent tothe Blue Jays.

Giants in A6. They were defeated in the 2012 World Series and are a California team.

Dodgers in C6. They are the third and last National league California team.

Royals in A3. They are a Missouri team so must be adjacent to the Cardinalsand must go in column A.
