    AAEON's Quality Assurance Closed Loop Feedback System provides solid and consistent feedback through the design, manufacturing and service stages to ensure continuous progress and quality improvement to meet customer expectations. These stages are: Design Quality Assurance (DQA), Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA) and Service Quality Assurance (SQA).

    DQADesign Quality Assurance starts at the conceptual stage of a project and covers the product development stage to ensure quality is designed in by highly qualified engineers. AAEON's safety and environmental test labs ensure our products meet the requirements of CE/UL/FCC/CCC standards. All AAEON products go through an extensive and comprehensive test plan for compatibility, function, performance and usability.     MQAManufacturing Quality Assurance is carried out in accordance with ISO-9001, ISO13485, ISO-14001 & ESD S20.20 certification standards. All AAEON products are built using production and quality testing equipment in a static-free environment.     Based on Texas Instruments OMAP processor series, the GENE-1350 is a full function single board computer (also available as a Starter Kit). At less than 3W, the GENE-1350 is an ideal solution for low power and fanless applications. With integrated battery charger circuitry, it is a transportable platform for mobile applications. The 2 Mini Card slots provide for the addition of features required for mobile products such as 3G and WiFi. This board leaves nothing out, with a Touch Screen Controller, Onboard Memory, Onboard Storage, SD, Camera Interface, Digital Display, to name a few.

    The TI OMAP processor gives this board amazing 3D Graphics and Video acceleration with its built-in DSP and video controller. Support for multiple operating systems such as Windows Embedded products, Linux and Android make this a highly versatile platform for many applications.

    The GENE-1350 operates in extreme environments with its operating temperature range of -40C to +85C, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as ATM/KIOSK, Fueling Stations, Charging Stations and other monitoring applications.

    Windows CE 6.0: Windows CE 6.0 is a component based real-time operating system utilized in a wide range of enterprise/consumer devices. Development tools such as the Visual Studio 2005 plug-in and Platform Builder offer an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that lets you create applications with Windows CE software in a common environment.     Wide Temperature Assurance Service (WiTAS)

    Service for Wide Temperature Embedded ComputingApplications of embedded computing systems continue to improve the quality and convenience of our lives. As the world population increases, there are greater demands on resources and, the need for automation and computing capability in remote regions will arise. To address the requirement for operating in extreme environments, computer platforms must follow design methodologies for wide temperature range operation. In addition, testing and product qualification must follow more stringent criteria to assure continuous operation. As the core of any embedded system, the CPU board plays perhaps the most critical role and therefore, requires careful design and validation for wide temperature production.

    AAEON has designed and manufactured quality embedded products for nearly two decades. The accumulated experience in all aspects of the embedded electronics market gives AAEON a strong position in the development of wide temperature CPU boards and systems.

    AAEONs WiTAS (Wide Temperature Assurance Service) program produces boards in two temperature range categories:

    -20C to 70C (-4F ~ 158F) = WiTAS 1 -40C to 85C (-40F ~ 185F) = WiTAS 2

    Boards that pass the thermal tests of -20C to 70C (-4F ~ 158F) are given a WiTAS 1 designation and boards that endure the thermal of -40C to 85C (-40F ~ 185F) are assigned a WiTAS 2 designation, as AAEONs special service assurance of wide temperature durability and reliability. This, in conjunction with the use of durable components throughout the duration of the testing, allows AAEON to enhance the longevity of its boards and systems.

    00 AAEON Hi-Safe

    Hi-Safe is a free and powerful program providing SDKs for UIs running Microsoft

    Windows Operating systems. It provides an easy way to develop the end users

    own UI software to monitor vital System information such as those for the processor,

    RAM and VGA. It monitors received data from the Super I/O, fan, temperature and

    voltage, offers configuration options for Digital I/O pin direction and data patterns,

    provides watchdog timer and fan speed settings, SMBus base address detection and

    device ID settings. It also offers two modes for backlight display control if one uses

    the LVDS interface. Based on the user interface SDK, no coding is needed and

    customers can create their own customized user interface by using the function

    codes provided by AAEON.

    Hi-Manager is a tool based on the Intel Active Management Technology 9.0 (iAMT

    9.0) and has backward compatibility with earlier versions of iAMT. This allows

    users to locate all iAMT devices within the intranet, power On/Off target devices

    remotely, set power On/Off scheduling, arrange device groupings for better

    management, offer event logs and timer settings to wake up devices at specified

    times, recover systems that have crashed from virtual CD-ROM, remote KVM

    management and access to target device hardware information for asset

    management. Hi-Manager can be installed on all AAEON platforms and can

    remotely manage AAEON client devices that use Intel Q77, Q87, QM77, QM87

    chipsets and run Microsoft Windows XP, Window 7 Operating Systems.
