Prophase: the nucleolus fades away and replicated DNA and proteins condense into chromosomes.

Prometaphase: the nucleus is now gone spindle fibres from the centrosomes attach to the kinetochores

metaphase: tension builds by the spindle fibres they aligns all chromosomes in one plane at the center of the cell

Anaphase: Spindle fibers shorten, the kinetochores separate, and the chromatids are pulled apart and begin moving to the cell poles.

telophase: the spindle fibres that were pulled apart disappear.

Cytokinesis: the sister cells are now pulled apart the spindle fibres are no long er attached.
