Research and Production Enterprise «MITEK» Ltd. (Ukraine, Nikolayev) is a stable and dynamically developing organization founded in 1993.From the date of foundation, the company specializes in the development and implementation of new technologies based on the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy, including the development and production of the necessary equipment for this purpose.During the years of productive work, the company has worked its way up to improve the developing and manufacturing of products, to educate highly quali" ed team of employees, to create a modern material and technical base, as well as the establish the reputation and the achievement of well-known enterprises. Magnetic-impulse installations IM designed for collapse of bridging and elimination of hanging bulk materials as well as cleaning di! erent surfaces from sticking and freezing bulk materials.

2.1. COMPOSITION AND SCHEMATIC STRUCTUREThe composition of magnetic-impulse installations IM is the following: power block (1), control stand (2), control cable (3), high-voltage coaxial cable (4), set of executive mechanisms (inductor + steel-aluminum plate) (5), connecting boxes (6).

A power block generates the powerful impulse of current and is made as dust- and moisture-proof box, consists of charge device (CD), capacity store of energy (SE), block of thyristor switches (TS), control and protection systems. A power block is made multichannel, besides one or two executive mechanisms can be connected through connecting boxes and high-voltage coaxial cable to each channel. Recommended length of high-voltage coaxial cable from power block to each connecting box is not more 30 m. An executive mechanism consists of inductor and steel-aluminum plate. Control stand is connected to power block by control cable. Recommended length of control cable is not more 100 m.

2.2. OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The operating principle of the installation IM is

based on converting electrical energy, stored

in the power block, into mechanical energy

generated by the executive mechanisms of IM

installation.

When the installation works, battery charging set

of the power block charges the capacitor battery

storage capacitor to a voltage of a predetermined

value, and then through the thyristor switch

discharge battery in the inductor.

According to the laws of electromagnetism

inductor, based on a rigid base and steel-

aluminum plate rigidly " xed to the surface

to be cleaned, repel each other. As a result,

implemented a powerful mechanical impulse

e! ect on the cleaning surface, the so-called

«electromagnetic hammer», and the surface is

cleaned of adhering material.

The strength of the mechanical stress and the

number of generated impulses are regulated and

selected to guarantee the collapse of sticking

Depending on size, capacity and construction of the object (e.g. hopper), thickness of the cleaned walls

and surfaces, presence of ribbing, physical and chemical properties and humidity of the loaded material the

di! erent variants of constructions of fastening and placing of executive mechanisms on the cleared surfaces

are possible.

2.3. TYPES AND DESIGNATION

Considering the di! erent type of objects to be equipped by installations IM, it requires an individual approach

to each and every object in order to determine the necessary parameters of mechanical impulses and number

of executive mechanisms for e! ective cleaning.

Therefore, the installations IM are available in di! erent versions, with di! erent energy parameters and the

number of channels.

Energy parameters (maximum working voltage and capacity of condenser battery) are determined the

maximum possible impulse mechanical impact on the cleaning surface. Number of channels determines the

maximum number of impulsive action points realized by one installation.

Two executive mechanisms (two action points) conform to one channel.

Example of designation: IM3-1,5-9, i.e. installation with maximum working voltage 3 kV, by the capacity of condenser battery 1,5 µF, by the number of channels 9.

Installations IM are divided into types according to the size of maximal working voltage: IM1 - to 1000V, IM2 - to 2000V, IM3 - to 3000V, IM4 - to 4000V, IM5 - to 5000V.

2.5. BASIC ADVANTAGES

• Higher e# ciency of the magnetic-impulse systems of cleaning, realized by the magnetic-impulse installations IM, as compared to other systems (vibrators, pneumo collapse) due to possibility of concordance of amplitude-frequency characteristics of in# uencing impulse with the physiotopological parameters of hopper and friable material and, as a result, to achievement of the assured collapse of sticking material with minimum power expenses. • Low operating costs. Magnetic-impulse technologies in the essence are power-saving. The rated power of installations makes 0,5-4,5 kW. The average consumption of electric power is to 0,2-1,0 kW per hour. Unlike the system of pneumocollapse compressors and devices of preparation (drainages) of air are not required. Maintenance costs of magnetic-impulse installations IM are minimal. • Increase of labour productivity, volumes of the produced products due to the increase of carrying capacity of hoppers, conveyor tracts, diminishing of time of the forced outage related to the manual purging of hoppers, chutes, loadings shoots of agglomachines, especially using damp mix materials. • Increase of quality, decline of reject of the prepared products due to the timely exit of materials from hoppers, that promote the observance of requirements of technology of production. • Increase of safety of labour due to the considerable diminishing, and in some cases exclusions of necessity of application of manual labour for cleaning of hoppers and other objects. Structural execution of IP54 and contactless impulsive in# uence on the wall of hopper provides possibility of application of installations IM in the premises of enhanceable danger. • Providing integrity of walls of hoppers at their cleaning, unlike application of eccentric vibrators or hand labour.-• Reliability and longevity of the magnetic-impulse systems due to absence in the executive mechanisms colliding details and interacting surfaces, application of original schemes decisions, presence of a number of protections from the nonpermanent modes. Term of service of installations IM to major repairs is no less than 10 years. In practice the term of exploitation is considerably longer at timely repair-prophylactic service.• Possibility of functioning of installations IM both in manual and in automatic modes, with the di! erent algorithms of starting work in the interface with the modern automated technological processes control systems. • The magnetic-impulse installations IM do not have harmful in$ uence on sensitive elements of control and measuring apparatus. The installations have the European certi" cate CE on the directives of electrosafety and electromagnetic compatibility, consonant with the di! erent tensoisometric devices.
