Mistake Number One.
• Not knowing “WHY” the first biggest mistake.• What mission are you on? • What are you passionate about? • What is the ultimate goal for your company?• What is the driving force that gets you up early and keeps
you working late?• To provide for your family. To provide for your kids. • To contribute to others and make a difference in the
world. To reduce your debt. Fire your boss. Retire early. To fight for a cause you're passionate about.
Mistake Number Two• Not knowing your company founders and leaders. • What is their background and track record? • Are you proud to represent them? • Are they worthy of your trust and respect?• Non-negotiable characteristics of a company leader.• Ethics, principles, transparency, authenticity, honesty, self
responsibility,. They must do what's right, do what they say and walk their talk.
• The company leaders must display persistence and determination. They must be committed to help you grow people!
Mistake Number Two• Company leaders must have a positive attitude and
certainty.• The company leaders must have an attractive personality. • Do You connect with the owners? Do you like them? Are
there egos in check?• The company leaders must be committed to creating and
maintaining a diverse and inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
• The leadership of your company will say a lot about its future.
• The speed of the leader is the speed of the team.
Mistake number Three
• Not believing in your company product.• Do not sell anything you would not purchase
yourself.• The product must be aligned with your highest
values • You must be a product of the product. • You must truly care about others and believe in
the product you are sharing, and your customers will sense it.
Mistake number three
• I want you to write down in big capital letters that word MARKET.
• Now cross it out • I want you to replace it with the words serve others• You don't market or sell anything.
• From now on, only serve others by expose, sharing and problem solving.
• Serve others in a way that helps them become self-reliant
Mistake number three
• We educate…. serve …..we help. • I make friends and solve problems. • Solving their problems not yours. • You can have anything you want in life as long
as you help enough other people get what they want first.

• Facing rejection is not the problem. • The problem is how you handle it - if you take it
personally. • You choose how you feel. If you feel that someone
thinks you're an idiot that it is your choice to think that way.
• Live to give.• You must know that it's your job to do the best you
can to expose, share, and show people how you can help them solve their problems.
• What they do is up to them!
Mistake number three
• Is what you are offering providing a tremendous value -- so the customer is the biggest winner?
• Are the products or services legitimate and our people already using them?
• Is the product competitively priced?• Do people have to change their behavior in
order to use the product or service?• Can the product stand on its own?
Mistake Number Four
Not following a proven system.• Is the person who introduced you to the opportunity
committed to your success? • Are you in turn committed to your team members success?• There is a big difference between being a mentor and a
recruiter.• A mentor coaches, inspires and trains. • You control training- if your partners cannot find customers,
and that's your fault. Training can be informal or formal. Formal would include having set 20 to 30 minute coaching sessions. Informal coaching might include 5, 10, to 20 minute calls --
Mistake Number Four
Three keys to being an effective coach and mentor.
1). First, you must avoid judging and getting frustrated. Constructive feedback is always appreciated.
2). Second, you must ask probing questions and listened intently to the answers.
3). Third, must invest quality time and really focus on helping your colleagues help themselves.
Be really present for the person to whom you are speaking.
Mistake Number Four
If they can do it, I can do it too. • Then why isn't everyone earning thousands of dollars every
month?• They are not willing to learn the methods and systems set up
before them. • They have to do it their way or are not willing to do it exactly the
way they have been shown.• Great companies have great systems. Follow the system. • You are welcome to tear away and sing the Frank Sinatra song
“My Way” at a very specific time. • When is that? That's right. When you become wealthy. Until then,
leverage what you do best and follow the company system.

• Listening to people that don’t know anything about what we do
