Land ResourcesLand Resources

In addition to water resources, people need resources from the land. For example, a fishing boat manufacturer needs wood from trees. It also needs aluminum and steel. Aluminum is the most abundant metal near Earth’s surface. Lead also comes from minerals found deep in the ground. Missouri has been a major lead producer for many years.
