Come to class and enjoy group support, encouragement and camaraderie as you pursue your fitness goals. Most group classes are included in your Y membership. Many members find that they start a class at one level and over time progress to higher levels of endurance, flexibility and strength.

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION EXERCISE CLASSCommunity based exercise program designed specifically to strengthen and tone individuals with arthritis and arthritis related diseases.

BARRESet to fun, energetic music, this class incorporates an upper body workout with weights and a combination of high-intensity core and lower body exercises at the barre. COREMore than traditional abdominal crunches! Includes planks, back extensor and oblique strengthening exercises.

CYCLING CLASSES—GENERAL INFOAll cycling classes offer tons of group support as you challenge yourself on flats, hills and speed drills on the indoor cycling bikes. Your own water bottle is required and hard-soled athletic shoes or bike cleats are recommended. Towels are provided. All fitness levels are welcome as you can ride at your own pace—riders modify the intensity up or down to match their needs.

CARDIO BURST CYCLE This cycling class is for anyone who enjoys a challenging, fast-paced ride to motivating music. All terrain ride-flats and hills. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace–all fitness levels welcome. 45 minutes.

DEEP WATER RUNNINGIf you’re looking for a cool alternative to running, or you’ve been injured and want to keep in shape, or you just want to add a new element to your running routine, water running can help. The class is designed so that anyone from a beginner to an elite racer will benefit.

FAT BURN INTERVALAn interval style class that combines strength conditioning with cardio movements for a full-body, fat burning work-out. A variety of equipment is used. Great for beginners or experienced participants.

INTRO CLASSES (offered periodically)Held periodically throughout the year, these sessions teach the basics of a class genre’s terminology, moves and patterns. In low to moderate intensity, the pace is slower and moves are basic to prepare you for the regular classes. Additional individual coaching is always available if you are unsure of terms, choreography moves and patterns used in any class you want to take—just ask at the Health & Wellness Center desk.

METABOLIC MADNESS Calorie burning, progressive strength and CORE Exercises to rev up your metabolism and prepare your body for life’s challenges.
