It is the beginning of a new page or a new chapter in our lives. While we do not know what the year will bring, it is good for us to approach it with anticipation and hope. That is a good reason to approach it with some heartfelt resolutions. My only suggestion is: don’t set your sights so high that you can’t possibly measure up to them. God knows that we change gradually, and that’s a good thing to keep in mind, otherwise we become so discouraged when we don’t measure up that we simply give up the effort.
