The applicant has made a presentation before the RC and Committee decided that applicant should produce NOC from Genetic Engineering Appraisal Committee (GEAC), Ministry of Environment & Forestry.
3.0 Government Business
3.1 Follow up action of Dr. C. D. Mayee committee recommendation for review of Fenthion for continued use or otherwise in the country.
The Committee deliberated the issue and comments presented from the Secretariat of CIB&RC and decided that the comments be incorporated in the protocols and sent to the applicant for completing the studies.
3.2 Phasing out of production and consumption of Methyl Bromide by 2015 as per Vienna Convention for the protection of Oqon Layer and Montreal protocol on substance that deplete the Ozon layer.
The Committee deliberated and decided that no further permission/registration for production and establishment of new capacity for Methyl Bromide will be given. Further, it was decided to communicate all the Director of Agricultures not to issue or re-new any license on already issued Certificates of Registration.
3.3 Follow up action on the recommendation of Dr. C. D. Mayee Committee regarding Monocrotophos.

The conditions as decided in 330th Meeting of RC also need to be incorporated on the CR. The applicant should submit the protocols to undertake the studies on post-marketing surveillance.
