CONSTRUCTION OF 509 BORDER OUTPOSTS (BOPs) • 383 BOPs on Indo-Bangladesh border and 126

BOPs on Indo-Pakistan border have been sanctioned. Completion by 2013-14.

24 NPM - Effective Incidence Response: Dial 100

A DPR was required to be prepared and the proposal by the NISG was rejected by HM. However a US based company OST has offered to do a DPR for one of the cities free of cost to integrate the 100, 108 and Fire Helpline. Some more documentation was requested after which the file would be put up for approval. They would need 4 months to complete the study for one city which would be the template for standardisation by all other cities.

25 NPM - MMM1: Project on ‘National Police Information & Convergence Network’.

Mission for Geo Spatial Applications, (GoI) has been asked to prepare a DPR for the pilot project in Assam. They have started the work and will complete the DPR within 3 months (20th May, 2010)
