Sites of the Djamansajskaya area perspective for revealing high-purity quartz deposits (Djamansaj, Yantaksaj, Kazgantau, and Sultonbobo)

Djamansaiskaya area is proposed as object of joint works in the Republic of Karakalpakstan with a high-purity quartz above 1,5 mln. tons. Reserves of these objects will be a basis for establishment in the republic of new industrial branch

Koitash deposit with wollastonite reserves above 5 mln.t. Value of the production is defined by universality of its application. It is in demand at the production of advanced ceramics, radioceramics, faience, porcelain, insulators, hygiene equipment, abrasives, glass, paper, pesticides, mineral wool, absorbers, as filler in glaze, paint, varnish, rubber etc.

The Suppatash fluorspar deposit

Suppatash fluorspar deposit with its reserves of 1.4 mln.t is an important raw material at the fluorite optical crystals synthesis, in the chemical industry – for production of hydrofluoric acid and in metallurgical industry – at production of aluminium and as flux for iron industry.

01.07.08.

Oil shale are spread on the territory of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan, on the area of above 100 ths. km2. On the area of Uzbekistan oil shale are estimated to the depth 600 m and amount to 47 bln. t.

Exploration of potential areas to develop newly discovered rare metals deposits

In Uzbekistan about 40 rare metal objects located within the limits of defined Main Tien-Shan rare metal zone were revealed.

The Mangit ore occurrence with tantalum and niobium reserves andresources of above 550 t, with accompanying beryllium (480 t), lithium (220 t), cesium (20 t), rubidium (330 t), feldspathic (840 ths.t) and quartz (510 ths.t)raw minerals.

The Sulatsay ore occurrence with tantalum and niobium reserves and resources of above 1830 t, with accompanying beryllium (1970 t), lithium (3420 t), cesium (1190 t), rubidium (2300 t), feldspathic (2300 ths.t) and quartzitic (1110 ths.t) raw minerals.

Saritau tungsten deposit

In the Sarytau ore occurrence proposed for investment, total tungsten reserves amount 61 ths. t and molybdenum – 2.7 ths. t. Additional mineral base can serve predicted tungsten resources estimated in the object as 75 ths. t and molybdenum – 2.3 ths.t.

- support at levels of our Governments of intentions to establish joint production on development of raw mineral resources of Uzbekistan;

- availability of financial and economic potential and interest of Japanese businessmen in hi-tech raw minerals;

- opportunity of attraction of advanced methods, equipment and technology on mining, recovery of useful components and obtaining output with high value added demanded at the global market;

- and, the most important, our confidence in Japanese traditional careful treatment to the nature and its environmental components.

- By many kinds of raw minerals the Republic has significant resourcesfor increasing capacities of the operating enterprise and creation new

-The Republic possesses a highly developed efficiency of the mineral industry, a favorable infrastructure and highly skilled manpower.

- Many deposits we can develop by open mining, by cheapest method. There are high technologies of raw minerals processing.

- Some deposits of Uzbekistan is complex, this considerablyincreases the value of objects.

- Low specific expenses per unit of end production provide high efficiency of capital investments.

- The favorable investment climate provided by «The Subsoil Law»and a support by the governing bodies of Uzbekistan.
