We shall overcome ! »

The photographer is an explorer, but also a witness that capturesa unique perspective of the essence of beings and things, theirintimate textures, their secret dreams, sometimes their miseryand their hopes forever.

In the January issue, we present photos and paintings that are like« passing notes », « sharing notes », those images are a fragile andpowerful writing which is like a whisper, « because the murmurmay be older than the lips »...

A deep and discrete poetry as well asa desperate irony emerge from Tugba

photos, they are just like particlessuspended in the air which make visiblea ray of light.

These emotional particles come to usas a slow, continuous and silent ight,

but yet quite eloquent : lassitude, wornfaces, wandering, a ame that falters, but

still shines…

She got her rst camera, a Kodak Disc,

from her parents on her 16th birthday

and started taking glamour shots of herfriends, recreating the images she saw inSeventeen Magazine.

Now mother of two children, shecreates graceful, sensual and attering

photographs of pregnant women andtheir newborns, babies and children.

« I am the other » said Gérard de Nerval,Naomi photographs the forthcominglife and let nudes appears to the surfaceof the world with a great renement.

By exploring her work, a questionarises : are creation and ethics a singlemovement which is the basis of ourinner being ?

“As a child I helped my father whenhe was working in the darkroom, thedeveloping process fascinated me”

Irma worked for 25 years as an artistand an architect. She photographs witha great aesthetic interactions betweenhumans and urban environment, herphotos allude to an other reality andevokes an other world, the hiddendimension, this space that man keepsbetween himself and others, betweenhimself and the urban, a mysteriousspace that since always he build aroundhim.
