Milwaukee is coming off a 3-2 win in Chicago on Sunday and currently sits in first place in a jumbled Central Division with 16 points on an 8-5 record. The Ads, who have alternated wins and losses in their past six games, have just two contests this week: tonight and Saturday against the Monsters. They will return to Milwaukee for a three-game homestand next week, beginning Wednesday against the Monsters. SCOUTING THE MONSTERS…The Admirals begin a three- game stretch against each other tonight at Quicken Loans Arena. The two teams will play eight times this season, four at each arena. Cleveland recently completed a four-game road trip, but have lost their past three, including a 3-2 shoot-out loss in Iowa on Sunday afternoon in their last outing. The team is led in scoring by Tyler Motte, who had seven points in seven games before being recalled by Columbus October 28, leaving Carter Camper as the active points leader at six (3g-3a). Brad Thiessen and rookie Matiss Kivlenieks have split time in net thus far. Thiessen is 4-1-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .900 save %, while Kivlenieks is 1-3-1 with a 2.56 and .900 save %. LAST GAME…The Ads captured a 3-2 win at Chicago on Sunday afternoon. All five goals scored in the game happened in the second period with Pontus Aberg finding the back of the net twice and Petter Granberg recording the game-winner late in the sandwich frame.
