MIG Safety

1. Make sure all welding cables and their connections are in good repair.

2. Wear welding gloves, helmet, leather apron, welding chaps, leather shoes, and other personal protective equipment.

3. Never touch an electrical connection, a bare wire, work or a machine part which may cause electrical shock

4. Never weld with flammables in your pocket5. Use pliers or tongs to handle hot metal from MIG

welding process.

6. Select the correct shaded lens for the electrode size being used

7. Preform all welds in a well-ventilated area.8. Do not attempt to repair or maintain a MIG
