Midweekly 02.13.2013 Teachers Week Thank You Dear Children’s Leaders, As a mom of two “First Kids,” I want to say thank you to our teachers that my children love to come to church! When I ask them why, the answer is, “because my teachers are nice.” Whether it is Sunday, Wednesday, or any day of the week, they get excited when they hear it is a church day. I believe it is because of the energy you spend to make your class special and the love that they so evidently feel from you. Both of my children receive mail from their teachers on a regular basis. My second grade boy’s mail is always addressed with “Master” before his name. We think that is so cool. Last week, my 4-year-old received Bible verse puzzles in the mail from her teacher. She beamed as she ran to the kitchen table to put them together. Teachers, know that both your big and little investments are building up with interests to help my kids grow as followers of Jesus. This mom in incredibly grateful for you. Sincerely, Shannon Meadors, Minister to Children Parents Night Out—THIS FRIDAY! Celebrating Grace HymnalThe day when we will be able to sing from our new Celebrating Grace Hymnal is well within sight. Every family is encouraged to contribute to our Hymnal Fund by placing copies in memory of or in honor of individuals at a cost of $25/designation. You will find available throughout our facilities specially designed envelopes for you to make your contributions. You can also make contributions utilizing a credit card via our website. The deadline for acknowledgement to be included in the Hymnal Dedication Commemorative Program is Sunday, March 24. We hope to unveil our new hymnals on Easter Sunday and produce a Hymnal Dedication Service and Hymn Sing on the evening of Sunday, April 21.

Thank you for investing in the future worship of the First Baptist Nashville Family of Faith. A new and very exciting opportunity is on the horizon as we together celebrate God’s abundant and enduring grace through the vibrant singing of timeless hymns and new expressions of the Christian faith all to the glory of God!
