Religion-Chinese

In China Confucianism was practiced among most of the population. It was a tranquil

philosophy that looked for good in people that embraced it, a

social harmony. Shortly after, the practice of Daoism was founded. Daoism focused on the immense

realm of nature and its mysterious unfolding patterns

which refers to the way of nature, and the unchanging principle

that governs all natural phenomena.

Religion-India

In India, Buddhism and Hinduism were much alike but distinctly different. Buddhism’s founder was Siddartha Gautama. Who

taught, “suffering and end to suffering.” And introduced “Enlightenment” a virtually indescribable state in which individual

identity would be “extinguished” along with all greed, hatred, and delusion, it was a

cleansing process. This all reflected from Hinduism. The Hindu traditions had the idea that life itself is an illusion. Buddhism was a

simpler from of Hinduism. Eventually Buddhism faded out and flourished a

broader version of Hinduism.

Agriculture- Crops

Growing of crops and other vegetation began after the first Ice Age. The process of trading cropping techniques and items with neighboring groups spread quickly.

With the process of diffusion, “the gradual spread of agricultural techniques and

perhaps of the plants and animals themselves, but without the extensive

movement of agricultural people.” A huge discovery was the use of corn/maize which

is used in many products such as bread. Corn/maize was at first the size of about a

quarter, but after evolving through agriculture its size enhanced to the

modern size today. Corn spread amongst countries at a rapid rate.

Agriculture- Domesticati

In present day, there have only been fourteen domesticated animals. Sheep, pigs, goats, cattle, and horses have been the important ones.

Civilizations-Class

In the past system classes were measured as; peasants, merchants, Landlords, and Kings. Comparing this to the present day classing system; peasants = Low Class, Merchants = lower middle class, Landlords = upper middle class, Kings = Higher class. It is interesting that centuries ago there is an installment of a class system, and in modern society there is one as well that is very similar.

CivilizationsIn the past, it was easy to depict where one stood in the classing system because of the clothes one wore. In this century, it is not as easy to depict someone based on the clothing they have on. One working a job as a person in a cubical, could be wearing the same thing as a C.E.O. behind a desk.
