All required items are due on Monday, October 24, 2016. This is necessary so costume fittings can proceed in the short allotted time available 2. Secondary Items due Monday, November 7, 2016. Options for Obtaining Student’s Costume ● Thrift stores ● Internet ● Local stores ● Family’s closets ● Check the opposite gender department in stores ● Some costumes pieces/shoes may be available from our costume room at MMS, 1 st come 1 st served. IMPORTANT: Text, email or call Girija or Kat by Monday, October 17 th , 2016 to schedule a time to see what’s available. No requests after this date, please. Other Important information ● You are not required to buy anything new ● The costume department has the option to reject an item if it does not fit with the look of the play ● Leave tags on items, if not used they can be returned ● Please do not bring any item that can’t be altered or changed ● Bring larger rather than smaller items ● No item too constricting or tight fitting – student’s need to move on stage easily ● Footwear should be well fitting and suited to all stage activity ● LABEL each item and the bag/container it comes in with your CHILD’S NAME. (This will save us important time often lost tracking down unidentified costumes) A Final Note about Deadlines: We depend on your assistance. As mentioned, we are ready to help in any way we can, but we rely on your good communication. If the deadlines are missed without any student/family contact, the school will obtain the garments and bill the family’s account.
