District Covered : South District

1.All the 42 schools are serving hot cooked meals.2.Food grains are delivered at the school level. 3.No discrimination of gender or caste or community was found in cooking or serving or seating arrangements.4.Majority of the schools displayed its weekly menu at a place noticeable to community, and it adheres to the menu displayed.

Contd..

1. The quality of food grain is not relatively good. Schools receive food grains but there is a delay to the extent of 02/03 months.

2. There is delay of 03/04 months in paying the remuneration to cooks cum helpers.

3. Menu is decided at the State Level4. No school maintains Health Card for each

child. There is no regular frequency of health check-up.

ISSUES

1. Low coverage of children against enrolment.

2. Payment to CCH is very low (only 59 %).

3. Menu is decided at the State Level (As per Guidelines, menu should be decided at school level by involving community members.

4. Low coverage under SHP ( only 25% schools).

5. Only one SSMC held upto 3rd Quarter
