Formatting Text and Creating a New Style Based on the Formatted Text• Triple-click the paragraph below the title to select it. Use the

Font box arrow on the Blog Post tab to change the font of the selected text to Papyrus

• Right-click the selected paragraph to display a shortcut menu. Point to Styles on the shortcut menu to display the Styles submenu .

• Click Save Selection as a New Quick Style on the Styles submenu to display the Create New Style from Formatting dialog box

• Type Blog Post in the Name text box. Click the OK button to create the new Quick Style and add it to the Styles gallery

Inserting a Picture• Position the insertion point at the end of the paragraph of text

and then press the ENTER key• Display the Insert tab• Click the Insert Picture from File button on the Insert tab to

display the Insert Picture dialog box• With your USB fl ash drive connected to one of the computer’s

USB ports, locate and then click the file called Crazy Horse on the USB fl ash drive to select the file

• Click the Insert button in the dialog box to insert the picture at the location of the insertion point in the document

Cropping a Graphic• Click the Crop button on the Format tab, which changes

the graphic’s sizing handles to cropping handles and also attaches a cropping image to the mouse pointer

• Position the mouse pointer on the middle-left cropping handle so that it looks like a sideways letter T

• Drag the middle-left cropping handle rightward to the location of the mouse pointer

• Release the mouse button to crop the graphic to the location

• Position the mouse pointer on the middle-top cropping handle so that it looks like an upside-down letter T and then drag the cropping handle downward to the location of the mouse pointer

• Release the mouse button to crop the graphic to the location

• Click the Crop button on the Format tab to deactivate the cropping tool, which changes the cropping handles on the graphic back to sizing handles

Changing a Picture Shape

• With the picture selected, click the Picture Shape button on the Format tab to display the Picture Shape gallery

• Click Rounded Rectangle in the Picture Shape gallery to apply the rounded rectangle shape to the selected picture

• Click outside of the picture to remove the selection from the picture

Inserting a CategoryNote: If you have not registered a blog account, you will

not be able to perform the following steps• Display the Blog Post tab• Click the Insert Category button on the Blog Post tab to

insert the Category drop-down list content control in the blog post

• Click the ‘Choose a category or type a new one’ box arrow to display a list of categories associated with the registered blog account

• Click Trips in the list, so that this blog post is categorized in the Trips category when you publish the blog post

Saving a Document

• Select your USB flash drive as the save location• Click the Save button in the Save As dialog box to

save the document on the USB flash drive with the file name, Crazy Horse Post
