Microelectronics and Telecommunications http://www.polytech-marseille.fr This course trains engineers to be capable of designing, analysing, developing and testing all kinds of integrated systems. The fields of application of these systems cover the sectors of the automobile, aerospace, wireless networks and mobile phone industries. They also concern e-health, RFID applications (transponders, electronic passports, NFC), electrical energy management and smart homes. The course also provides an introduction to the fields of nanotechnologies, photonics and ‘green’ electronics. The course benefits from a favourable economic context in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region, where the microelectronics and telecoms sectors are particularly well represented. French "diplôme d'ingénieur", grade of Master Duration : 3 years Open to 2-year university undergraduates recruited through a selective process or to exchange students from partner universities Courses taught in French 1/2 Courses (Full time student = 30 ECTS or credits /semester) Teaching Units and Course Components Semester ECTS Mathematics I – Common Core Waves I – Common Core Electrotechnics - Common Core Physics Electronics I - Components Physics of Components 1 Electronics II - Active Circuits TP Electronics 1 Waves II - Power Electronics – Common Core Computer Analysis Digital Electronic Circuits Structured Programing - C Language English General Law – Common Core Probability and Statistics- Common Core Linear Control Systems - operational amplifier Signal Transmission 1 Technology of Components Practicals: Physics Optics and Photonics Practicals: Telecommunications 1 Electronic Assembly Analogic Filters Complex Digital Systems - μP Complex Digital Systems - VHDL Digital Modulationand Mobile Communication Discrete Signals and Systems English Communication & Human Relations Financial Management and Accounting for Businesses Company Law 3rd Year Work Placement 6 4 5 6 UE 53 – Specialism Courses : Digital Electronics 6 6 Module 63 – Specialism Course : Digital Electronics UE 51 – Basic Courses 5 12 UE 52 – Specialism Course : Analogic Electronics 5 6 UE 54 – Social Science, Humanities, Economics, Law & Languages 5 6 UE 61 – Basic Courses 6 8 UE 62 – Specialism Courses : Analogic Electronics 6 6 UE 64 – Social Science, Humanities, Economics, Law & Languages 6 6
