life too small to be seen with the naked eye.

Microbiology has several disciplines including bacteriology ,virology, mycology.

Specialties within microbiology may include Microbial physiology ,Microbial genetics and evolution ,Environmental microbiology, Industrial microbiology, Food microbiology, & Pharmaceutical microbiology.

Observing , monitoring & identifying micro organism

Monitoring and assessing samples from environment, raw materials, finished products, food ,water.

Developing new techniques, products & processes .

Growing microbial culture. Following regular sampling schedules

within a specific environment.

Quality control in manufacturing processes.

Bachelor's Degree in microbiology or biotechnology qualified for lab assistants or technician.
