Rodney is a huge cuddle bug and he knows how to sit! Such an awesome Pointer mix, he will make the perfect companion for your family. He loves kids! He enjoys walks, looking for frogs, and belly rubs! He sometimes thinks he is a frog because he tries
t o catch fl ies and treats. He wants to be your lap dog although his size makes this request a little interesting. Estimated DOB is 02/21/2011. Approx. weight is 63 lbs.
A l l PPAS puppies and dogs are up to date o n all of their vaccines (including rabies if age
prohibiting), and will be micro chipped and registered in the adopter’s name at the
time of adoption. Adopters get a free consultation at Cottonwood Animal Hospital within 14 days of adoption. Any dog that is six months of age or older will be tested for Heartworms and if found negative, will be kept on Heartworm prevention during their shelter stay, after the adoption it is up to the adopter to continue the highly recommended Heartworm preventative treatment. Also all PPAS shelter dogs are treated with a monthly topical fl ea/tick preventative and we ask that adopters continue that treatment as well.
The shelter is open to the public: Mon, Wed, Thurs 11-6 and Sat 11-4. If you are interested in this dog or puppy, please either email Prairie Paws Animal Shelter at [email protected], for an application visit our website @ prairiepaws.org or call 785.242.2967 for more information.

ON THE MOVEThe family is pleased to announce that the newspaper soon will be operating out of a new location just up the street from the existing offi ce on Main Street.
Miami County Newspapers, which operates the Graphic along with the Miami County Republic and Louisburg Herald, took over production of the Read It Free Shopper last fall, and the Graphic soon will be moving into the former Read It Free offi ce at 561 Main St.
The Graphic’s existing offi ce will close Friday, and the new offi ce will open once a variety of remodeling projects are complete. In the meantime, the Graphic will temporarily operate out of the Miami County Republic offi ce at 121 S. Pearl St. in Paola.
We’re excited to be able to stay on Osawatomie’s revitalized Main Street, and the Graphic will continue to offer its customers the same services it always has.
The newspaper soon may have a new address, but its commitment to serving the community and being the best source for local news and information will not change.
During the transition, Graphic employees can be reached at the Paola offi ce at (913) 294-2311.
