These are samples of covers and layout from my current position

as Art Director at Event Solutions Magazine.

The top two examples on the left and right are from the same issue with the cover teasing an article on the changes to the event industry following Hurricane Katrina.

On the left is a cover teasing an article that covered the opportunites for the events industry at the SuperBowl. On the right is an example of a layout for current novel events industry trends.

The bottom cover teased an article discussing the hidden opportunitis in countries still shrouded in the remnants of the Iron Curtain while the layout to the right is an expose on the events industry in Las Vegas.

I have done many different print ads over the years for a variet of different publications. This sample for Splash Rentals (an events industry rental company) wanted something different and humrous that would draw the reader to the website. A series of ads was created around a new character, Splashman, that would be linked to webbased ads on their website: www.splashrentals.com.

Jean Francois’ target audience is corporate event planners who need an entertaining keynote speaker. This is one of several ads for this “extreme” painter/entertainer with an international reputation. www.extremeart.com

This sampling is the of latest ads I have created for another events industry company that also targets corporate event planners who want to produce the most dazzling events. www.creativebackstage.com

I have been the contracted graphic designer for The Golf Tournament Association of

America since creating their logo in 2003. Periodic “Golf Tournament Guides”, media kits, brochures, mailers, web art and other support materials. I created approximately 100 print ads over the years for the publication.

Twenty Claws Pet Products is a startup company with a line of new products.

Not only did I design the logo, do menu layouts and all support materials for this local restaurant, but I also was the chef many years ago, wrote the recipes and painted murals in thier new restaurant! www.pizzaheavenbistro.com

Over the years I created four full color 30+ page “tournament guides” for the GTAA. these contain a planning gude, editorial, a product directory as well as advertisements.

Phoenix Art Museum contracted me to do a variety of “exhibit guides” including this temprary exhibit.

The Phoenix Art Museum also commissioned me to do a series of these “How to Look at Art” guies. This sample included original illustrations.
