The LNP has a plan to tackle the cost of living. It’s not fair that wholesale electricity prices have increased by 70% under Labor. The LNP’s plan will: Freeze family car rego for three years, saving
families up to $200. Provide cheaper electricity by increasing
competition in the wholesale electricity market and by reducing network charges, saving families an average of $160 a year.
Freeze power executive bonuses until electricity prices fall.
Put Consumer Representatives on the boards of electricity networks – to control costs and lower prices.
Help seniors with half-price driver licences and free off-peak bus and train travel.
Provide parents with a $150 voucher for kids’ swimming lessons.
