Picture Background Remover First you highlight the picture by clicking on it. Next click picture Tools on the Format tab, in the

Adjust group, click Background Removal. Then you Click the lines and then drag them so

that it contains the portion of the picture that you want to keep and removes most of the picture you don’t want.

Then Click outside of the slide and you are done.

Screenshots First you go to the insert tab and click on the

Screenshot down arrow. Click the Screen Clipping if you want a part of the

screen or click a window under Available windows if you want the whole window.

Add Textures To Pictures First click the picture that you want to apply an

artistic effect to. Then go to Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the

Adjust group, and click Artistic Effects. Finally, click the artistic effect that you want. Original Photocopy Effect

Copying Animation Effects First choose the object with the animations that you

want to copy. Then go to the Animations tab, in the Advanced

Animation group, and click Animation Painter. Finally, on the slide, click the object to which you

want to copy the animations.

Embedding Videos Start in Normal view, and click the slide

in which you want to embed a video. Then click on the Insert tab, in the

Media group, click the arrow under Video, and click Video from file.

Finally in the Insert Video dialog box, locate and click the video that you want to embed, and then click Insert.

Transitions First, select the slid you would like to transition into. Then select the Transitions tab. Finally, on the Transitions tab, in the Transition To This

Slide group, click the slide transition effect that you want for that slide.

Trim a Video Clip First, on Normal view, on the video frame, press Play. Next, choose the video on the slide. Then, under Video Tools, on the Playback tab, in the Editing

group, click Trim Video. Finally, in the Trim Video dialog box, do one or more of the

following: 1. To trim the beginning of the clip, click the start point

(shown in the image below as a green marker, on the far left). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired starting position for the video.

2. To trim the end of the clip, click the end point (shown in the image below as a red marker, on the right). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired ending position for the video.

Trim an Audio Clip First choose the audio clip, and then press Play. Then under Audio Tools, on the Playback tab, in the Editing

group, click Trim Audio. Finally, in the Trim Audio dialog box, do one or more of the

following: 1. To trim the beginning of the clip, click the start point (shown

in the image below as a green marker, on the far left). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired starting position for the audio clip.

2. To trim the end of the clip, click the end point (shown in the image below as a red marker, on the right). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired ending position for the audio clip.

Crop a Picture with Precision First select the picture that you want to crop. Next under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group,

click Crop. Then do one of the following: 1.To crop one side, drag the center cropping handle on that

side inward. 2.To crop equally on two sides at the same time, press and

hold CTRL while you drag the center cropping handle on either side inward.

3. To crop equally on all four sides at the same time, press and hold CTRL while you drag a corner cropping handle inward.

Finally, press Esc to exit

Turn Your Mouse Into a Laser Pointer

First, choose one of the following: 1. To use the laser pointer in Slide Show view, on the Slide Show

tab, in the Start Slide Show group, click either From Beginning or From Current Slide to start your slide show.

2. To use the laser pointer in Reading view, on the View tab, in the Presentation Views group, click Reading View.

Then press and hold CTRL, click the left mouse button, and point to the contents on the slide that you want to draw attention to.

To change the color of the laser pointer, do the following: 1.On the Slide Show tab, in the Set Up group, click Set Up Slide

Show. 2.In the Set Up Show dialog box, under Show Options, select the

color that you want from the Laser pointer color list, and then click OK.
