Every Tuesday afternoon from 3.30 to 4.30pm the English teachers run a tutoring

session.

It’s in K06.

It’s free.

It’s for everyone - Years 7 to 12.

You can come for 10 minutes or stay for an hour.

Bring a task that you’d like help with, or just have a quiet place to do some work.

We help with English as our first priority, but we also help with the literacy parts of other subjects.

Another free service offered by the teachers at your local school.

This program has run successfully at Mudgee High School for the last 2 years. We welcome all students who

wish to be involved. Students don’t need to book in – they can just turn up on the day and stay for as much of

the hour as they want.

Most of the time students bring the work with which they want help. If a student has a particular skill that they

want to develop, they can let their English teacher know and a package of work targeting that skill can be pre-

pared. We do need a few days’ notice for this.

The last Tutoring Tuesday for 2018 will be on 11th December. We will kick off again in week 2 of 2019. Get

involved and, get the help you need to thrive in school!

A message from the English teachers…

Come to English Tutoring

on Tuesday afternoon
