Colonel Dennis C. Brown commissioned from OCS in February 1985 as a Chemical Corps Officer. He served as a Project Officer, Aide-de-camp, and a Branch Chief prior to transferring to the Medical Service Corps in May 1989. He served as a Hazardous Waste Project Officer in the Waste Disposal Engineering Division, US Army Environmental Hygiene Agency, in Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland from May 1989 through December 1990. After the AMEDD Advance Course, he served as Project Officer at the 10th Medical Laboratory in Landstuhl, Germany from July 1991 through March 1993. While serving in Germany, COL Brown deployed to Croatia as part of Joint Task Force Provide Promise (Forward) under the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR) from April to October 1993. While in Croatia, he served as the Chief of Preventive Medicine (PM) for the Joint Task Force and UNPROFOR PM Officer. Upon his return to 10th Medical Laboratory, he served as the Chief of the Environmental Health Engineering Division until June 1994. He attended the University of Texas- Austin from August 1994 through June 1996. He assumed command of the 38th Medical Detachment, Yongsan, Korea in June 1996. After two years of command, he served as the Force Health Protection Officer for US Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, VA from August 1998 through September 1999. On October 1, 1999, he was assigned as the Deputy Surgeon to the newly-established Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF- CS) until July 2001. Moving to serve as the lead Joint Medical Planner to JTF-CS Joint Planning Group, he assisted in planning DOD support in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. From August 2003 through July 2005, he served as Commander, Joint Technical Augmentation Cell at Fort Monroe, Virginia. From July 2005 to July 2007, he served as Commander, US Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine- North at Ft Meade, MD. After his Senior Service College Fellowship at the Department of Health and Human Services headquarters in Washington, D.C., he was assigned as the Deputy Surgeon at US Army Central/3rd Army in Atlanta, GA from July 2008 to June 2011. Lieutenant Colonel John Aulbach

Lieutenant Colonel John Aulbach was commissioned as an Infantry Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School on 16 March 1943. His first assignment was as Unit Command Infantry Officer, CRTC, Camp Crowder, Missouri. His subsequent duty assignments were: France, Germany, and Japan. He served with the 9th Infantry Division as part of the Trident Division during World War II which was reactivated at Camp Swift, Texas. He then attended Louisiana Maneuvers during the fall of 1943-1944. His respect of his fellow soldier and their expertise would show his ability to lead and gain dedication from his fellow soldiers. After Louisiana training he was assigned to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for additional training. He was sent for amphibious training in California with the idea that the 97th would be sent to the pacific. These plans were changed by the War Department and they began their involvement in the Battle of the Bulge. .

CPT William D. Swenson

CPT William D. Swenson joined the U.S. Army in 2002. He then attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA. where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant. He attended the Infantry Officer Basic Course and earned his branch qualification in Infantry. Swenson served one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. For his final tour in Afghanistan he was assigned to Task Force Phoenix, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan and served as an Afghan Border Police advisor, in support of 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry). His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Seattle University. His military education includes the Infantry Mountain Leader Advanced Marksmanship Course, U.S. Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Ranger School, and the Infantry Maneuver Captains Career Course.
