Schedule adjustments, trip eliminations and changes to bus stops will be made on select Metrobus routes in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia beginning Sunday, December 18, 2016.

In addition, some routes will be modified or will operate later on Friday and Saturday nights to provide customer connections due to the earlier closing time of the Metrorail system. All routes listed will have new schedules with revised trip times.

1B Wilson Boulevard-Vienna

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

5A DC-Dulles

• The long term detour in Rosslyn associated with the building of Central Place will end.

• Eastbound and westbound trips will use a new bus-only tunnel at Rosslyn Metrorail Station between North Moore and North Lynn streets.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

7C, 7P, 7W, 7X Lincolnia-Park Center-Pentagon

• Routes 7C and 7P will be renamed the “Park Center-Pentagon” Line.

• Routes 7W and 7X will be renamed the “Lincolnia-Pentagon” Line.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

• Routes will not change.

15K Chain Bridge Road

• The long term detour in Rosslyn associated with the building of Central Place will end.

• Westbound trips will use a new bus-only tunnel at Rosslyn Metrorail Station between North Moore and North Lynn streets.

16E Columbia Pike

• Late night weekday and Saturday service will be extended from the Pentagon Transit Center to Franklin Square in downtown DC via 14th Street to provide connections for customers due to the earlier closure of the Metrorail system.

21A Landmark-Bren Mar Park-Pentagon

• Morning rush hour service will operate every 15 minutes to reduce passenger crowding.

38B Ballston-Farragut Square

• The long term detour in Rosslyn associated with the building of Central Place will end.

80 North Capitol Street

• The last two weekday northbound trips leaving the Kennedy Center at 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. will only operate to Brookland Metrorail Station.

• The last two Saturday and Sunday northbound trips leaving the Kennedy Center at 1:04 a.m. and 1:34 a.m. will only operate to Brookland Metrorail Station.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

82, 83, 86 College Park

• Route 82 trips will be replaced by modified Route 83 trips.

• Select late night Route 83 trips will operate between Rhode Island Ave and College Park-U of Md Metrorail stations to provide connections for customers due to the earlier closure of the Metrorail system.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

89, 89M Laurel

• In Beltsville, northbound and southbound trips will operate via Ammendale Road between Baltimore Avenue and Virginia Manor Road.

90, 92 U Street-Garfield

94 Stanton Road

• The last weeknight trip will depart Anacostia Metrorail Station at 11:58 p.m. and Stanton Road at 12:08 a.m.

C2, C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook

• Westbound trips starting at Guilford Road and Drexel Street will be relocated to begin at the new Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center.

• New timetables will reflect trip time adjustments at the new Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center.

C21, C22, C26, C29 Central Avenue

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

D2 Glover Park-Dupont Circle

• The last Monday through Thursday trips will depart Glover Park at 12:21 a.m. and Dupont Circle at 12:44 a.m.

• The last Friday trip will depart Glover Park at 1:01 a.m. and Dupont Circle at 1:24 a.m.

• The last Saturday trip will depart Glover Park at 1:12 a.m. and Dupont Circle at 1:35 a.m. The last Sunday trip will depart Glover Park at 11:50 p.m. and Dupont Circle at 12:06 a.m.

E2 Ivy City-Fort Totten

• Late night weekday trips after 11 p.m. will be adjusted to leave Fort Totten Metrorail Station at 11 p.m., 11:45 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., and leave Ivy City at 11:23 p.m. and 12:04 a.m.

H6 Brookland-Fort Lincoln

• The last weeknight trip will depart Brookland-CUA Metrorail Station at 12:08 a.m. and Fort Lincoln at 12:19 a.m.

• The last Saturday trip will depart Brookland-CUA Metrorail Station at 12:12 a.m. and Fort Lincoln at 12:24 a.m.

J2 Bethesda-Silver Spring

• Additional Friday and Saturday late night service will operate every 60 minutes, with one additional eastbound trip and two additional westbound trips between Bethesda and Silver Spring Metrorail stations to provide connections for customers due to the earlier closure of the Metrorail system.

J4 College Park-Bethesda Limited

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

K6 New Hampshire Avenue-Maryland

• Southbound trips starting at New Hampshire Avenue and Merrimac Drive will be relocated to begin at the new Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center.

• The last two late night Saturday northbound trips will depart at 12:41 a.m. and 1:11 a.m.

• New timetables will reflect trip time adjustments at the new Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center.

L1, L2 Connecticut Avenue

• Late night Friday and Saturday Route L2 service will be added and extend to Friendship Heights and Bethesda Metrorail stations, departing from Farragut Square every 30 minutes between midnight and 2 a.m. to provide connections for customers due to the earlier closure of the Metrorail system.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

Metroway Potomac Yard

• Southbound buses from Pentagon City Metrorail Station will operate via 12th Street South in Pentagon City instead of Army Navy Drive.

• No bus stops will be affected.

N2, N4 Massachusetts Avenue

• An additional eastbound Route N4 trip from Friendship Heights Metrorail Station to Farragut Square will be added at 7:41 a.m. to reduce passenger crowding.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

P6 Anacostia-Eckington

• Northbound buses to Rhode Island Ave Metrorail Station will no longer serve the bus stop on H Street at 6th Street, NW.

REX Richmond Highway Express

• The Fort Belvoir Pence Gate entrance (Belvoir Road) will close on weeknights between 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Buses will use the Tully Gate entrance (Pohick Road) after 9 p.m.

• On Saturday and Sunday, Pence Gate will be closed between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. Buses will use the Tully Gate entrance (Pohick Road) before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

• Trips using Tully Gate will operate via Richmond Highway (US 1), Pohick Road, Theote Road, 16th Street, Belvoir Road and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

• Buses will not serve the Jackson Loop during the times Pence Gate is closed.

• When Pence Gate is open, buses will serve all stops between the Jackson Loop and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

U7 Deanwood-Minnesota Ave Station

• The last weeknight trip will depart Minnesota Ave Metrorail Station at 12:35 a.m. and Deanwood Metrorail Station at 12:50 a.m.

• The last Saturday trip will depart Minnesota Ave Metrorail Station at 12:42 a.m. and Deanwood Metrorail Station at 1 a.m.

• The last Sunday trip will depart Minnesota Ave Metrorail Station at 12:30 a.m. and Deanwood Metrorail Station at 12:42 a.m.

V1 Benning Heights-M Street

• New timetables will reflect adjusted trip times to improve service.

W8 Garfield-Anacostia Loop

• The Sunday late night trip leaving Anacostia Metrorail Station at 12:15 a.m. will be adjusted to leave at 12:30 a.m. to improve coordination with the last Green Line train to Branch Ave Metrorail Station.

X1 Benning Road

• Eastbound and westbound bus stops will be added on the H Street (Hopscotch) Bridge at the bus/taxi entrance to Union Station.

X2 Benning Road-H Street

• Eastbound and westbound bus stops will be added on the H Street (Hopscotch) Bridge at the bus/taxi entrance to Union Station.

X9 Benning Road-H Street Limited

• Eastbound and westbound bus stops will be added on the H Street (Hopscotch) Bridge at the bus/taxi entrance to Union Station.
